| Y'all know I'm a bit of a kook. I get in moods and start itching to acquire something strange. If not for the cost, I'd get this: http://www.jellyfishart.com/Default.asp _________________ Roz http://staringatbirdsandgoats.blogspot.com/Disclaimer: The views expressed in this article are those of the author and do not necessarily represent the views of, and should not be attributed to, the U.S. Department of Justice. | Me, too.
If I get this job and we get a big old house up here, I'm at least going to indulge in a saltwater tank. |

That is kinda cool! As far as the salt water tank, they are more work to get set up but are less work than a freshwater tank once they are set up, as they are more self sufficient. |

| Maybe because mine had lots of big fish and stuff ,but it was a lot of work. Cleaned it lot more often than the freshwater tanks, and keeping the water right.maybe if i lived where i could pump seawater straight to it would be alright. |

| Shoot. I remember my first salt endeavor. It was before the invention of skimmers and refugiums (at least for the home aquarium). I had a 20 gal salt on a under gravel filter. Talk about a lot of doodling to keep everything within the correct parameters.
It looks like a nice reef tank's pretty self sufficient. _________________ Roz http://staringatbirdsandgoats.blogspot.com/Disclaimer: The views expressed in this article are those of the author and do not necessarily represent the views of, and should not be attributed to, the U.S. Department of Justice. | Okay. So ... just last night I talk the hubby into letting me get a betta (also got a super awesome betta bowl for him; he's stylin'). His name is Baxter.
Now I wish I had used that energy to talk him into getting a jellyfish... *sigh*
I wonder how many eyelash bats it takes to get a jellyfish... |

Oh yah. He has the whole shebang! One little Betta in a giant (for him) tank, with his heater, and light, and filter, and and and and...
After the cast of TNG got Ick (we had a 20 gallon aquarium and named all the fish after Star Trek characters), we decided to have a one fish home, and to ensure that they have the BEST home possible.

| You've got him in a 20G?! Man I feel terrible for those teeny cup-dwellers The last of my fish died in one of my 10Gs..... That means that I'm setting up a betta tank! I used to have one, a single betta in a 10G is my favourite set up by far @zazanomore.... ha ha ha |

| Oh, he's not in a 20g (no room for a 20g with Poe). He's in a super awesome 7g and seems to be LOVING it. |
