| I'm aware of both. The Joliet fair is a bit far from me, but I can and do go to Rolling Meadows. |

| I never been in Joliet. Probably because it's always Sunday and my bf is working. It's not that fun to go by yourself. Closest Joliet fair is next Sunday. If you are willing to go, you can drive to my place, leave your car on my parking and we can go both to Joliet. Let me know  |

One of my Avian friends & my Foodie friend are going on a ROAD TRIP to:

It's only 40 miles from Chicago (we'll be driving 13 hours each way!), but will be a fun long weekend road trip for the crazy girls and wonderful avian peeps!

I would LOVE to see her up here in Canada, but it is so expensive I don't see it happening. I wrote her to find out how much it would cost for her to come, this is what she sent back:

Perhaps you can share it with your club? If it sounds reasonable to them, I am sure we could get something scheduled.

Below are answers to a few frequently asked questions about presentations:
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Expenses to budget for are airfare, hotel accommodations and a speaker's fee. This fee is $1200 for a day long presentation on parrot behavior and training. For a two day seminar the daily rate is reduced and the total speaker's fee is $2000.
Our Bird Club doesn't have this kind of money!
